The Brass Bullet (Universal, 1917). Three Sheet (39.5" X 78") Episode 11 -- "Evil Waters."
Based on Frank R. Adam's newly released novel Pleasure Island, this silent serial features Juanita Hansen as the heiress to a treasure of hidden gold, with Charles Hill Mailes playing the part of her murderously greedy uncle. Our obligatory hero comes in the form of a dashing playwright, depicted by staple serial actor Jack Mulhall. However, Hansen looks about ready to save herself as she pulls back for a punch in this richly colored three sheet. Making its first ever appearance at Heritage, this dynamic stone litho poster shows edge and fold wear with chipping and tears, pinholes, creasing, stains and smudging, and dust shadows. There is some paper loss in the upper right corner. Fine- on Kraft Paper.
