Attack of the 50 Foot Woman (Allied Artists, 1958). Banner (24" X 82").
The adage "Hell hath no fury like a woman scorned" is taken to new heights in this classic '50s sci-fi morality tale. Allison Hayes, in her most famous role, is the jilted wife who can no longer be ignored when an alien causes her to grow to colossal size. Reynold Brown's iconic image of Hayes (per the norm with banners of this era) is a panel that was attached to the blank spot on the end of the banner. Touchup was applied to a chip at the top left, edge wear, creasing, small amounts of cracking, pinholes in the corners, and to a spot near the center blue background. Fine/Very Fine on Linen.
