Tall in the Saddle (RKO, Late 1940s). First Post-War Horizontal Italian 2 - Fogli (39" X 55") Carlantonio Longi Artwork.Original paper, especially foreign paper, for this John Wayne Western are few and far between. Wayne is Rocklin, a cowboy who arrives at a ranch to take over as foreman, but discovers the owner has been murdered. He soon learns of a scheme to swindle the ranch away from its rightful owner and comes to the rescue, solving the murder mystery and saving the ranch. Featuring great artwork by Carlantonio Longi, this Heritage first has touchup to the folds and some tears in the borders and outer background. Still visible are mild tape stains in three corners and some foxing in the left side of the bottom border. Very Fine- on Linen.
