Target Earth (Allied Artists, 1954). Rolled, Very Fine-. Half Sheet (22" X 28") Style A.
Chicago is targeted for an alien invasion from the planet Venus in this 1950s sci-fi thriller, bringing together mismatched survivors Virginia Grey, Kathleen Crowley, Richard Denning, and Dick Reeves. Although we're told that an "army" of robots threatens the planet, there was actually only one robot costume, due to very real, very stringent budgetary constraints. A must have for science fiction fans, this style A half sheet is perhaps superior to its sister style as this example contains a large portrait of Richard Denning and Kathleen Crowley. The poster has fold and edge wear including pinholes, micro tears, and mild staining within the white background and to the right of the title image.
