In Wine, Women and Song, Lilyan Tashman shines as Frankie, a ruthless Broadway diva willing to do anything to secure the lead role in producer Lew Cody's next musical. Driven by ambition and deception, she manipulates those around her to stay in the spotlight. In a shocking act of desperation, Frankie even pushes her own daughter into Cody's grasp, sacrificing morality for her career. Tashman's commanding performance and the film's backstage drama make it a compelling pre-Code tale of ambition and betrayal. This insert is a first-time offering from Heritage Auctions. There is some wear along the fold lines, airbrushing, and touchup, all of which were done professionally. The resulting poster is a beautiful piece of pre-Code cinema.
