Description
Sky High (Fox, R-1920s). Fine+ on Linen. Three Sheet (41" X 79").Tom Mix was the idol of every boy and one of the most popular of screen stars in the latter part of the silent era! Though William S. Hart was the pioneer of the serious Western silent genre, Mix was the flamboyant, wildly dressed star of many films for William Fox Studio! This reissue three sheet is a first time offer for Heritage and has a beautiful stone litho image of the star astride Tony, the Wonder Horse. This is most likely the only extant copy of this lovely image. The poster, which was printed in two pieces, was professionally restored to address border and fold wear with slight image loss in the folds. The majority of the white field of the poster as well as the borders have been airbrushed.
