Jimmy Stewart takes an impressive turn as a retired detective in this intricate Hitchcock tale. Set on location in 1950s San Francisco, the film deals with acrophobia, obsession, and deceit in this dizzying thriller. Kim Novak intrigues as the mysterious Madeleine who becomes the object of Stewart's fixation after he accepts an assignment to shadow her. A graphic design gem, this poster features iconic spiraling artwork by the illustrious Saul Bass. Light touchup is applied to the folds, a few of the pinholes, and a surface scuff in the lower right background. Some of the pinholes are still visible. The poster has unaddressed smudges and unobtrusive stains. Very Fine- on Paper.
