For his very first film poster commission, artist Robert McGinnis (known for Thunderball, Barbarella, etc., and a veteran of over 1200 paperback covers) delivered this splendid and now indelible image of Audrey Hepburn as Holly Golightly coyly posing in her iconic Givenchy gown. Hepburn shines as the emotionally fragile Golightly, who doesn't know what she wants from life. Based on the novella by Truman Capote, this loose adaptation is the perfect blend of romance, intelligence, humor, and sophistication, all directed by Blake Edwards and set against the backdrop of 1960s New York. A fan favorite poster for collectors, this one sheet has had professional touchup to address fold wear, very minor tears, and a small chip in the lower left corner. The poster's borders look nice and crisp after being airbrushed.
