Jealousy (Columbia, 1934). Fine/Very Fine. Window Card (14" X 22").
In the 1934 drama Jealousy, boxer Larry O'Roarke (George Murphy) struggles with an uncontrollable jealous streak that leads to devastating consequences. When he discovers his girlfriend Jo (Nancy Carroll) alone with her boss (Donald Cook), his rage takes over, and he fatally attacks the man in a blind fury. Overcome with shock and panic, Larry flees into the night, leaving Jo behind to face the consequences of his crime. As the authorities close in and Jo is forced to defend herself, the film explores themes of obsession, guilt, and the destructive power of jealousy in this gripping pre-Code drama. This beautiful window card features all three stars, and is entirely free from restoration. A tear impacts the top border only.
