The Great Radium Mystery (Universal, 1919). Fine on Linen. Three Sheet (40.5" X 80").
A lost film, the 18 chapter serial reportedly involved spies, scientists, and a secret weapon powered by radium, a mysterious and newly discovered element at the time. The story followed agents and villains competing for control of the powerful substance, with a mix of exotic settings, secret codes, and science-fiction touches. Backed to linen, there has been restoration to address wear and splits to some folds, chips and holes to the borders and image areas. Portions of the letters in the billing block have been touchedup and the borders have been painted. Thanks to these efforts, the poster displays very nicely. Only a second time offering at Heritage.
