Dracula's Daughter (Universal, 1936). Very Fine+. Lobby Card (11" X 14").
Countess Marya Zaleska (Gloria Holden), the daughter of Count Dracula, believes herself to be a vampire and meets with her psychiatrist (Otto Kruger) in an attempt to escape the influence and hold her dead father has upon her. All of the lobby cards from this film are exceptionally moody and atmospheric and this one is one of the best; a "montage" card that depicts the only original character from the movie Dracula (Edward van Sloan as Von Helsing) leaning over the dead body of Dracula. The film was based on a chapter excised from Bram Stoker's original novel and released later as a separate short story entitled Dracula's Guest. In excellent condition, the card has pinholes in the corners, and a small corner bend in the bottom left. There are some small paper lifts on the corners on the verso.
