Dracula (Realart, R-1951). Fine+. Half Sheet (22" X 28") Style A.
This 1951 reissue half sheet showcases a fantastic image of Bela Lugosi as the world famous blood sucker, from the classic adaptation of Bram Stoker's immortal novel, Dracula. A hit in 1931, the film was re-released into theaters in 1951, with a campaign by Realart featuring garish and eye-catching posters and lobby cards that have become prized by collectors for their outstanding graphics. Universal horror fans shouldn't let the sun go down on the opportunity to add this rare poster to their collection. Although the poster has never been folded, it shows edge wear including creases and tears throughout the borders, a pinhole in the center of the main image, smudges, and paper tape in the borders in addition to the verso. The paper tape on the verso is within both the right and left borders.
