The Dark Crystal is a seminal fantasy adventure that follows a young Gelfling named Jen on a quest to heal the Dark Crystal and restore balance to his world by defeating the sinister Skeksis. Co-directed by Jim Henson and Frank Oz, the film was groundbreaking for its ambitious use of puppetry and animatronics, creating an immersive world entirely without human actors. Though initially met with mixed reviews, it has since gained cult status and is celebrated for its dark, complex storytelling and its influence on the evolution of fantasy cinema. Of special note in this example, Jim Henson himself has signed the poster within the image of the sun, making it an even rarer collectible. Minimal touchup has addressed some creases and horizontal divots throughout while a few of those creases and light scuffs remain visible. The autograph has been authenticated by both PSA and Beckett.
