The Leopard Man (RKO, 1943). Folded, Fine/Very Fine. One Sheet (27" X 41").
A publicity stunt involving a black leopard at a nightclub turns deadly when the animal escapes and, soon after, a series of brutal murders occur, seemingly the work of the leopard. But as nightclub promoter Jerry Manning investigates, he suspects something more sinister... perhaps the killings are being committed by a person using the leopard as cover. This production from Val Lewton for RKO was among the films cementing Lewton's legacy as the premier horror-suspense producer of the day. Other entries such as the Cat People and The Body Snatcher are cult classics and popular titles for collectors. There are a few small or minute splits to the edges, pinholes to the corners with enlarged holes to the upper left. The upper right corner has a 2-inch split with small chips, the corners have small creases and there is some creasing as well as minute or pinpoint splits at the lower fold junctions.
