A team of scientists captures the Gill-man once again, unintentionally injuring him in a fire. They surgically transform him into a land-dwelling creature by modifying his lungs, stripping him of his gills, and his aquatic identity. As the creature becomes more human-like, his violent instincts are curbed, but his growing awareness of humanity's cruelty and his captivity lead to tragedy. The third (and final) film in the trilogy, this entry closed out the classic Universal monsters, 25 years after Dracula and Frankenstein were released. There are pinholes and small bumps to each corner; light edge wear with soft creases and faint toning.
