The Graduate (1968). Very Fine+. Vista Promotional Poster (18" X 24").
This is a special promotional poster produced and distributed by Vista, AmeriCorps. VISTA is a national service program designed to alleviate poverty. President John F. Kennedy originated the idea for VISTA, which was founded as Volunteers in Service to America in 1965, and incorporated into the AmeriCorps network of programs in 1993. The wonderful tagline "You can put off plastics for a year" is in reference to the famous line in the Mike Nichols film The Graduate. Benjamin Braddock, a new college graduate played by Dustin Hoffman, is approached by one of his father's business associates and is told one word...Plastics! The future is in Plastics! The poster shows only very minor handling wear.
