From what will forever be remembered as "The Greatest Show on Earth," this original circus banner for the Ringling Bros and Barnum & Bailey Circus is nothing shy of stunning. Artist Bill Bailey captures one of the amazing beasts from the "World's Biggest Menagerie" in a bright array of colors and gorgeous detail, a fantastic acquisition for circus fans. This rare linen banner has such indications of use as some fraying at the edges, pinholes, and mild creases. There are mostly unobtrusive stains, bleedthrough from a stamp on the top left, and a couple of small chips. The banner is comprised of linen sheets sown together, as originally produced.
