The 7th Voyage of Sinbad by Studio Brini (Columbia, R-1976). Very Fine. Original Mixed Media Poster Artwork on Illustration Board (21" X 28") & Italian 4-Fogli (55" X 78").
A thrilling production, this is the legendary story of Sinbad brought to life by the stop-motion magic of master animator Ray Harryhausen. Who can forget the incredible battle against the one-eyed Cyclops or the chilling menace of the magical snake woman? Featured in this lot is the original poster art used for the reissue of The 7th Voyage of Sinbad and its corresponding Italian 4-fogli poster. The art is believed to have been done by an unknown artist with Studio Brini, the shop created by famed artist Ercole Brini. These unrestored items are in fantastic condition and show only the slightest of wear within the backing board of the art, which includes some staining or minor tears and does not change the state of the original artwork. The artwork was created with gouache and does have a couple of staples within its borders. The verso of the backing is dated 5.14.76, and the poster itself appears to be virtually unused or may have very light edge wear.
