Spellbound (United Artists, 1945). Folded, Fine/Very Fine. One Sheet (27" X 41").
In this psychological thriller directed by Alfred Hitchcock, Ingrid Bergman stars as a psychiatrist who falls for a man with amnesia (Gregory Peck), suspected of murder. As she tries to uncover his true identity, surreal dream sequences designed by Salvador Dali and Freudian analysis unfold. While the psychological theories may feel dated today, Spellbound remains a stylish and intriguing film. There are pinholes to the corners and some border areas, with a few into the black background. The edges have some wear and bumping, as well as small creasing. There is soft creasing to the poster, a 2-inch split to the upper fold junction with a minute chip, and small splits with minute chip to the lower fold junctions. A split at the top right fold end and a small bit to the interior portion. There are a few scuffs, small areas of residue and slight toning.
