Nuclear tests in the arctic thaw out a frozen dinosaur buried deep in the ice, and the wakened beast proceeds to wreak havoc down the East Coast of North America. This was the first of the giant creature features, and Ray Harryhausen's effects astounded audiences with their realistic visuals. Former Production Designer/Art Director Eugene Lourie, who later made Colossus of New York and The Giant Behemoth, directs this memorable classic. Only sold once before by Heritage, this silk-screen poster shows edge wear, creasing and some cracking, staining, mild toning, and small chips and tears in the borders. There is plastic tape along the upper border on the verso. Very rare. Rolled, Fine+.
