Tarzan and the Leopard Woman is widely considered one of Johnny Weissmuller's best Tarzan films for RKO after their acquisition of the property from MGM. In this thrilling adventure, Tarzan confronts a secretive leopard cult led by Acquanetta (of Captive Wild Woman fame), battling to restore peace with the help of Jane (Brenda Joyce) and Boy (Johnny Sheffield). While many actors have portrayed Edgar Rice Burroughs' legendary character over the years, Weissmuller remains the definitive Tarzan, and this film's striking one sheet is celebrated by collectors as perhaps the most attractive of the RKO series. Airbrushing and touchup has been applied primarily along the borders and folds to address edge and fold wear, pinholes, creases, fold/crossfold separation, and tears. Additionally, touchup, airbrushing, and replacement has corrected various chips, a couple of areas of slight paper loss, as well as missing upper corners.
