Star Wars (20th Century Fox, 1977). Rolled and Folded. Very Fine-. Full-Bleed Marley Haley British Quad (30" X 40") & Full-Bleed Marler Haley British Double Crown Set of 4 (20" X 30").
This exceptional Marler Haley British quad and matching set of four Marler Haley British double crowns represent one of the rarest and most visually striking collections of Star Wars advertising material ever produced. Created by the British marketing firm Marler Haley exclusively for Odeon cinemas across the United Kingdom, these special posters were displayed only at select theaters and were never issued through standard campaign books, resulting in extremely limited production and survival rates. Heritage Auctions has never before presented all five posters together, having previously offered the British quad only twice and a single double crown individually. The posters show only light edge and fold wear, mild creasing, a few pinholes and small tears, and minor staining; the "Villains" style has cellophane tape on the verso, and the "Excitement" style has masking tape on the verso. The British quad is rolled, while the double crowns, originally folded, will also be shipped rolled. A can't-miss opportunity for the advanced Star Wars collector, as piecing a set together would be a very difficult task.
