Carmen Jones (20th Century Fox, 1954). One Sheet (27" X 41").
In this updated version of Bizet's Carmen, Dorothy Dandridge stars as a feisty young woman who draws the attentions of an engaged soldier (Harry Belafonte), with tragic consequences. Though both Dandridge and Belafonte were excellent vocalists, their singing was dubbed by opera stars LeVerne Hutcherson and Marilyn Horne. This colorful, unrestored poster has a tear in the top border and some tearing in Carmen's torso section, crossfold separations, a chip in the left border, extra vertical creasing, and corner creases. Folded, Fine/Very Fine.
