Our Hospitality (Metro, 1923). Lobby Card (11" X 14").
Buster Keaton pauses for a moment to watch a large man (Erwin Connelly) get beaten by his tiny wife during a quarrel. The scene is pure Keaton, where he does the whole scene in his trademark deadpan. It's the 1830s, and Keaton's sense of humor foreruns American history as he displays his "carpet bagger" luggage as a New Yorker going to the South to receive an inheritance. Great grade for a rare card. There are only minor pin point stains in the top left border, and a small top right corner crease. Very Fine.
