Swing Time (RKO, 1936). Half Sheet (22" X 28").
Fred Astaire and Ginger Rogers dazzle audiences in this masterful musical directed by George Stevens. Jerome Kern wrote the score and came away with an Oscar for the unforgettable hit "The Way You Look Tonight." Prior to professional restoration, this gorgeous item had tears in the lower right of the image area and in Rogers' dress, chips and tears at the top and right borders that extend into the artwork, and tears at the bottom. The restoration is beautifully done, leaving a bright and exceptional gem. Very Good- on Paper.
