The Thing From Another World (RKO, 1951). Half Sheet (22" X 28") Style B.
Few sci-fi film ad campaigns have been more successful than the one for this 1951 classic. The poster artists succeeded in garnering intense public attention with the subtle technique of simply dripping the entire title in a thick drip of molecular goo. This style B half sheet is one of the more desirable pieces on the title, in that it features a full seven photo insets from the film! There is mild fold wear, edge wear with small tears in the border, and one in the bottom border into the image. There is tape on the verso on the folds, and tape residue on the top edge with paper lifts. There are chips out of three corners, and a punch hole in the top left.
