The Lost Weekend (Paramount, 1945). One Sheet (26.25" X 40.25").
Ray Milland won an Academy Award for his searing portrayal of a writer who lets booze ruin every aspect of his life. Based on the novel by Don Birnam and directed by Billy Wilder, this harrowing film also won Oscars for best director, best picture, and best screenplay (Wilder, Charles Brackett). The poster has been trimmed slightly and touchup applied to the folds. Pinholes in the corners are still barely perceptible. Very Fine- on Linen.
