Kiss of Death (20th Century Fox, 1947). Full-Bleed One Sheet (26" X 39.5").
Father, husband and petty thief (Victor Mature) takes the fall for his gang and is sentenced to 20 years for robbery. While he's in prison, his wife undergoes incredible hardships and Mature's old pals renege on their promise to look after her while he's serving time. After his wife commits suicide, Mature agrees to make a deal with the Feds and inform on his old gang in exchange for his freedom and a reunion with his two little girls. Richard Widmark (in his first feature role) is brilliant as the sadistic, grinning and giggling hit-man, Tommy Udo. This is the only black and white poster in the noir genre and has gained a following due to its unusual design and full-bleed printing. Restoration and touch-up have been applied to pinholes in the corners, fold wear, and slight surface paper damage in the top right corner. Fine/Very Fine on Linen.
