Bally Shoes & Other Lot (c. 1979). Rolled, Very Fine+. French Advertising Poster (17" X 24.25") & French Advertising Poster on Linen (26.75" X 35.25"). Advertising.
Offered in this lot are a poster for Bally shoes by the famed artist Bernard Villemot and a linenbacked poster for John Lobb shoes from the 1980s. Restored and unrestored posters with bright color and clean overall appearances. They may have general signs of use, such as light edge wear, slight creases, or unobtrusive smudges. Although the poster for John Lobb shoes is backed on linen, no further restoration is applied. A poster graded Very Fine+ may still be on Linen, but this is the highest grade allowed for a poster in this state. Grades on all restored items are pre-restoration grades.
