Description

Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs & Other Lots (Walt Disney/New York Graphics Society, 1947). Overall: Very Fine-. Print Set of 4 (11.5" X 13.5") in Original Envelope. Animation.
The New York Graphic Society opened in 1804 and thus earned the distinction of being the first museum in New York City. They signed a license with the Walt Disney Company in 1946 to produce and sell a series of four lithograph prints for their fundraising efforts, creating two Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs pieces and two Bambi pieces, entitled "Snow White's Last Call for Dinner," "Good Friends, All!," "Forest Secrets, Told by Thumper to Bambi," and "Bambi Meets his Forest Friends," each of which are offered in this lot. They sold these in portfolio editions of four, and also as individual prints, available in three different sizes. Unrestored prints with bright color and clean overall appearances. They may have general signs of use, such as minute edge and corner wear, soft creases, unobtrusive smudges and scuffs, a minimal amount of foxing, or primarily light toning. A Walt Disney production.
