Description

Broken Hearts of Hollywood (Warner Bros., 1926). Folded, Fine/Very Fine. Six Sheet (81" X 81").
Virginia Perry, a once-renowned Hollywood starlet, finds herself propelled back into the fickle world of film, eager to rekindle her dimmed stardom. Yet, as the brutal wheel of time grinds onwards, she is sidelined to minor roles. Simultaneously, Betty Ann, her youthful daughter and a beauty pageant victor, steps into the glamorous yet treacherous Hollywood scene, and they ultimately share the screen with drama ensuing. Starring Patsy Ruth Miller, Louise Dresser, Douglas Fairbanks Jr., Jerry Miley, Stuart Holmes, and Barbara Worth. Directed by Lloyd Bacon. An unrestored poster that displays signs of use. May include edge and fold wear, pinholes, creases, small fold and crossfold separation, chipping, slight smudges, some scuffs, minute image ghosting, tiny paper lifts, a few small gouges, faint graphite/grease pencil bleedthrough, or significant tears along the borders and within the interior image/background. The poster comes in six sheets as originally printed. There are strips of archival tape on the verso. From the Dwight Manley Collection.
