Chained for Life (Classic Pictures, 1951). Fine on Linen. One Sheet (27" X 41.5").
Posters for this 1951 exploitation film, based loosely on the real-life exploits of the Siamese twin Hilton sisters, have long been in short supply. The distribution of the film was spotty at best, with the film being widely banned for its "lurid" content. But the joke was on the censors...there wasn't any. The sisters who had appeared in Freaks actually perform three songs in the film along with acts of many vaudeville friends. A true "curio" of film history. Prior to restoration, there was vertical fold separation with chipping and paper loss. The borders have been airbrushed.
