Planet of the Apes (20th Century Fox, 1968). One Sheet (27" X 41").
Based on Pierre Boulle's satirical novel Monkey Planet, this Arthur P. Jacobs production was in development for many years before finally being green-lit by 20th Century Fox. Star Charlton Heston was instrumental in getting the project launched as one of its biggest boosters. This fan favorite one sheet features Maurice Evans as the venerable Doctor Zaius and boasts exceptionally bright color. The only signs of handling include small crossfold separations, right edge wear, and a tiny indentation in the upper left and bottom left background. Folded, Very Fine.
