Holiday Inn (Paramount, 1942). Window Card (14" X 22").
In one of the most popular musicals of all time, Fred Astaire and Bing Crosby star as a song-and-dance team who open an Inn after Bing decides to retire. While at the Inn (which is only open on Holidays), Bing falls for the charms of Marjorie Reynolds. The music was supplied by Irving Berlin and was the first time Bing would croon the song White Christmas. The tune and the movie were so good, that the studio remade it in 1954 as White Christmas. Posters from this title are very difficult to find and this rarely seen window card displays bright color and very few signs of handling: toning along the edges and a small corner bend at the top left and bottom right. Very Fine.
