Offered here is a beautiful poster with incredible artwork of Lupe Velez by Charles W. Pancoast. In his final silent film, which features some recorded music, D.W. Griffith gives audiences a tour de force filled with camera innovations and superb performances by leads William Boyd (the future Hopalong Cassidy), Lupe Velez, and Jetta Goudal. A variation of the Pygmalion tale, this melodrama is set in 19th century Paris, and features Velez, in one of her earliest roles, as a lowly cabaret singer transformed into a noblewoman, in order to embarrass Boyd's character. The poster shows some edge creasing on the right border.
