Before he was an icon of early Hollywood, Douglas Fairbanks started out in a series of light comic roles, but soon discovered his flair for swashbuckling adventure when he starred in The Mark of Zorro in 1920, a role that lifted him to megastar status virtually overnight. Famously married to "America's Sweetheart," Mary Pickford, the couple, along with Charlie Chaplin and director D. W. Griffith, founded United Artists in 1919, making Fairbanks one of the most powerful men in Hollywood. This charming stock sheet is a first time offer from Heritage, and has touchup to pinholes in the borders and interior, some creasing, and two chips in the right border. Fine+ on Paper.
