Silent Men (Columbia, 1933). Very Fine- on Linen. One Sheet (27" X 41").
In this early talkie, Tim McCoy plays a cowboy who escapes from jail while serving a sentence for a crime he didn't commit, then finds himself embroiled in a range war between two cattle ranchers. This stunning stone litho features a great image of McCoy, one of the biggest Western stars of the day, who was, in real life, an expert horseman and roper, as well as an authority on Native American language and culture. Poster received restoration to address fold wear, especially to lower cross fold separation and to borders, color retouch remains visible at the folds, and a color retouch is visible at the upper fold.
