The most highly anticipated sequel of its era, The Empire Strikes Back stormed into theaters in 1980, shattering box office records for a follow-up film. George Lucas's continuation of the Star Wars saga quickly became a cultural phenomenon, and is still widely regarded by fans as the finest entry in the entire series. Posters for the film have remained in steady demand since its release, including this Style B insert, featuring striking artwork by Tom Jung. An amazing image, it is only marred by light edge wear, subtle bends/divots, a few creases, a small bend at the upper right corner, and pinpoint staining along the bottom border and within the lower credits block.
