Often regarded as the best film in the Star Wars saga and one of the greatest sequels in cinema history, The Empire Strikes Back features the return of Luke Skywalker, Han Solo, Princess Leia, and the menacing Darth Vader, memorably captured in this iconic artwork by Tom Jung. This particular one sheet showcases the same striking imagery as the Style B poster but stands apart with a deep lavender background in place of the usual light blue and is printed on heavier, glossy paper. Produced exclusively for internal studio use and never released to theaters, this version is far rarer than the standard NSS issue, making it a prized gem for collectors. This specific example is in wonderful condition, displaying only mostly light creases and handling wear, small corner bends, and a couple of micro tears along the borders.
