In this scandalous pre-code comedy, Jean Harlow deploys her ample natural assets in service of riches and social standing. Her preferred method of advancement? Seducing increasingly wealthier and more powerful men (as well as their handsome young chauffeurs). Played with a humorous bent and slathered in innuendo, Red-Headed Woman epitomizes the type of mature entertainment the Hays Code was intended to curtail. Offered here is an excellent never before seen insert for the film. Backed to paper, touchup has addressed heavy creasing along the original folds and in the image as well as abrasion in the lower image. The title was airbrushed, as well as the boarders to correct large corner pinholes and minor tears. As a result of these attentions, this gorgeous pre-code insert presents well.
