Walturdaw Pictures was a British film company active in the early 20th century, playing a key role in the development of the country's film industry. Known for producing and distributing silent films, the company was also influential in cinema exhibition, operating one of the earliest film distribution circuits in the UK. Norma Talmadge, meanwhile, rose to fame as one of the silent era's most acclaimed dramatic actresses, known for her emotional depth and versatility. Transitioning from light comedies to intense melodramas, she became a box-office sensation, securing her place among Hollywood's elite.
