Although written before Jaws terrified a generation of beach lovers in 1975, writer/director William Grefe got the green light for this film after the success of that Spielberg hit. However, a story of a veteran discovering a mystical connection with sharks didn't fare as well, although it did garner a small cult following years later. The artist, no doubt, had a tall order to produce an equally impressive piece of artwork without treading too closely to Roger Kastel's Jaws version. The final result is a high energy image of a charging shark towards the viewer with a visible hand that may or may not be still connected to its owner just above the image of the shark. Any fan of horror (or killer sharks for that matter) would love to get their hands on this great key art that is being offered for the first time. The illustration board is in amazing condition with strong uses of colors and detailing. The board may show the faintest of edge wear from being in storage, and some glue residue from being matted during print production. Near Mint.
