Hi De Ho (All-American, 1947). One Sheet (28" X 40.5").
Cab Calloway, the big band leader himself, gets in on the action with this tale set in a nightclub where his girlfriend Minnie's jealousy causes a rivalry between two competing night clubs, and two women competing for Cab's attention. While the story was incidental, it set the stage for Cab to perform several songs in his distinctive style. The film's title takes it's cue from aline in one of Calloway's all -time greatest hits, "Minnie the Moocher." Posters for this film are exceptionally rare as they only played theatres with black patrons. Light touchup has been applied to the folds, minor chips in the folds, and a couple of pinholes. There are small tears in the right side of the poster with minor bits of paper loss, as well as a tear from the the upper border into the girl's shoulder. Very Fine- on Linen.
