The Land of Missing Men (Tiffany, 1930). Three Sheet (41" X 80") Style B.
"He was a man among men...strong,swift,deadly...the hardest horseman, the surest shot, the most uncanny roper...Bob Steele in a great Western romance!" Posters from this genre don't get any better than this style B three sheet. In the foreground is cowboy hero Steele, depicted on horseback "kidnapping" Nita Madero against a scrub brush-dotted, cactus-pocked, purple-rocked, dirt-choking, heat-shimmering landscape. This is the first paper Heritage has presented from the film, and it doesn't disappoint. The poster displays beautifully after touchup to the folds, a small hole under "Tiffany," a small hole to the left of Steele's hat, a small hole in the top right yellow background, two small chips in the bottom border, and chips in the crossfolds. Fine/Very Fine on Linen.
