Riding an incredible wave of fame after the hits Sullivan's Travels and This Gun for Hire, Veronica Lake was at the top of her career when she starred alongside Fredric March in this hilarious tale of a witch who accidentally falls in love with the man she intended to curse. A perfect romantic comedy, this is not only one of Lake's best roles, but is also the inspiration for the hit TV series Bewitched. With its eye-catching graphics, this poster presents well after touchup to the folds, pinholes in the borders and background, a horizontal crease along the upper border, and a misfold at the lower horizontal fold. There was a minor chip in the upper right border and two small mirrored chips in Lake's hair and the title. There is some unaddressed creasing towards the bottom. Fine/Very Fine on Linen.
