Description

Trap Happy (M & M, 1946). Fine/Very Fine on Linen. One Sheet (27" X 41").
This classic Tom & Jerry short, directed by William Hannah and Joseph Barbera, shows Tom hiring another cat named Butch to help catch his rodent nemesis, only to see their plans backfire spectacularly. Representative of the mid-1940s peak of Hannah and Barbera's creative output, this rare one sheet is making only its second appearance at Heritage. Backed to linen, there was touchup to chipping and wear along the folds and two small holes above the "Y" in "Happy." The top and bottom borders have been slightly trimmed. It presents well.
