San Francisco (MGM, 1936). Folded, Fine+. Insert (14" X 36").
W. S. Van Dyke directs Clark Gable, Jeanette McDonald, and Spencer Tracy in one of MGM's greatest hits. McDonald is a talented young singer torn between opera house owner Jack Holt and Clark Gable, the owner of a rowdy night club known as the Paradise Cafe. The film was nominated for Best Picture, Best Actor for Tracy, and Best Director, and showcases fantastic special effects with a cataclysmic earthquake. The poster has fold wear with masking tape on the verso, pinholes, creasing on the bottom border, and edge wear. There are light stains on the right border into the interior, and faint smudging on the left and bottom borders.
