Though it might not have met critics' or box office expectations upon its release in 1933, Duck Soup has come to be regarded as a classic comedy that is one of the Marx Brothers' finest films. This fun Swedish one sheet, offered at Heritage for the first time in over eight years, immortalizes the film with bright color and a whimsical design. The stone litho poster is in remarkable condition, showing just some minimal edge and fold wear, a few subtle creases, and a bit of faint image ghosting in the folds. There is also a small amount of ink transference in the background area near the poster's left edge to the left of Harpo's face which is caused by graphite writing on the verso.
