The Philadelphia Story (MGM, 1940). Lobby Cards (2) (11" X 14").
The Philadelphia Story marked the triumphant return of Katharine Hepburn to the silver screen, after having been labeled box office poison for a series of flop pictures (including Bringing Up Baby, which later became a cult favorite). This great closeup of Cary Grant and Hepburn is probably the best portrait card in a fantastic set of cards, with the shot of Hepburn and James Stewart coming in as a close second. Touchup has addressed a few minor tears, a couple of small corner chips, and corner bends. Both cards have archival tape on the verso. Very Fine-.
