Dracula's Daughter is filled with intriguing behind-the-scenes and cultural trivia. Originally intended to be directed by James Whale (or Frankenstein fame) and featuring Bela Lugosi, the project passed through multiple script drafts and faced censorship hurdles, particularly due to its suggestive content. Gloria Holden reportedly disliked horror films and was reluctant to take the role, but her performance gave the character a cold elegance that became iconic. It stands as a unique and influential entry in Universal's classic horror lineup. There is slight edge wear, a tack hole to each corner and one in the upper border. The card is otherwise unblemished.
